We cover all areas of landscaping, decking, turfing, shrub and tree planting, but mainly specialising in the building of stone walls (drystone and mortar walls) and laying of stone paving and cobbles.

Our History

Stephen Paul established the business in 1975 after qualifying with an ONDH in horticulture from Auchincruive college. He always centered the business around large private contracts with a real love for plants and creating a bespoke garden for the client.
Sadly in 1994, Stephen was involved in a freak road accident where he lost his life.
With no one in the family to carry the business on, it was offered to myself, Robert Wilson, to purchase the machinery and good name. I was a good friend of Stephens and was proud to carry the business into the future.

I had qualified in 1991 with a Diploma in Horticulture after working for 2 years with Stephen. After working for a few larger companies as a foreman, I felt this was the right thing to do giving me the chance to carry out the higher standard of work that I felt should always be achieved.

Since then, I have carried out some great jobs over the years, building the Stones of Scotland in Regent Park, Edinburgh for Glasgow artist George Wylie, as well as other large private contracts throughout Scotland.
